This month, we present two standout reds:
2018 Cuda Ridge Malbec
Blend: 34% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, 5% Grenache, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Merlot
Alcohol: 13.9%
This exceptional red blend from Niner Wine Estates showcases the beauty of Paso Robles vineyards. With its combination of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Grenache, Petit Verdot, and Merlot, this wine offers a complex array of flavors. From dry tannins to juicy fruit notes, it represents the essence of an excellent vintage.
2018 Verdad Tempranillo, Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard
The 2018 Tempranillo Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard is a powerful, savory wine that is going to need at least a few years to come around. Dark cherry, leather, spice, menthol, licorice and a touch of savoriness from the 20% whole clusters give this cool-climate Tempranillo tons of complexity. The 2018 really comes alive with time in the glass. It is the best edition of this wine yet. Louisa Lindquist gave the 2018 18 months in French oak, about a third of it new.

2021 EMBLEM CHARDONNAY
100% Chardonnay
Low intervention winemaking to capture the nuance of the vineyard and to preserve the vibrant acidity in the wine. Whole clusters brought into the stainless-steel tanks to extract flavor and free-run juice; gently pressed after 24 hours, yeast added, and then moved into barrels for fermentation. The wine is aged 7 months in French Oak (10% new) without stirring of the lees or malolactic fermentation. Lightly fined and filtered.
2021 Solis Winery Fiano Estate – Santa Clara Valley
Introducing the 2021 Solis Winery Fiano Estate from Santa Clara Valley: This crystal-clear wine boasts sparkling lemon-lime hues and a bouquet of green apple, honeysuckle, pomelo, agave, and lemongrass. It offers a perfect balance of bright acidity and richness, with a medium body, soft mouthfeel, and a lighter finish. Discover hints of hazelnut, citrus, toasted coconut, and minerality. Serve well-chilled for warm-weather dining or appetizer gatherings.
